The newly combined organization amplifies Franklin Energy’s commitment to boldly changing our energy future. As of today, Franklin Energy:

  • Maintains offices in 39 states and provinces, with four product distribution centers across the US and a domestically manufactured line of weatherization products. Our 31% BIPOC workforce lives and works in the communities they serve.
  • Employs more than 1,200 people across the US and Canada, including nearly 60 credentialed energy engineers across multiple disciplines, hundreds of Certified Energy Managers (CEM), BPI-certified employees, and licensed electricians to expertly meet our clients' unique needs.
  • Provides integrated consulting, implementation, and products support for more than 1,800 clients. This expanded suite of products and services meets the needs of all sectors and program types, while driving innovation across the board.
  • Continues to provide the same personalized support to clients as we did 28 years ago when our current longest running program was first launched.

It also substantially expanded our in-house engineering capabilities by adding 40 more degreed and credentialed energy engineers across multiple disciplines.

Added in-house manufacturing and distribution of hundreds of core clean energy products under the Niagara Conservation and Simply Conserve brands to Franklin Energy's offerings, while expanding our distribution capabilities to thousands of other products, and further expanding our kit, education, and marketplace solutions. This enabled the full integration of products and services offerings to reduce costs and streamline the customer experience for thousands of utilities, program implementers, and contractors across the US.

Added 39 years of experience in load management to Franklin Energy's offerings, while expanding our residential energy efficiency expertise and field services capabilities. The team had implemented more than 55 award-winning demand response and energy efficiency programs in more than 20 states and provinces, including the statewide Energizing Indiana portfolio. This acquisition enabled us to offer integrated demand-side management portfolios for grid optimization and an improved customer experience.

Added energy and water efficiency kits and proprietary school-based education curriculum to Franklin Energy's offerings. This new education solution allowed us to encourage program participation via an entirely new channel focused on our youth, while seamlessly connecting education to action.

Added 15 years of experience with cooperative utilities in the distribution of clean energy products, kit, and marketplace solutions to Franklin Energy's offerings. The pioneering first marketplace we gained with this acquisition was launched in 2009 for Hoosier Energy's 18 distribution cooperatives. What began with CFLs was successfully grown and evolved to include new products and features for well over a decade.
