With over 20 years of experience in energy and finance, Terry Sobolewski has held leadership roles in operations, customer delivery, sales, business planning, and enterprise-wide process and performance improvement. As CEO of Franklin Energy, Terry is responsible for providing strategic direction and creating a company vision, inspiring employees to drive towards long-term success. He holds both a BSE in mechanical engineering as well as an MBA in marketing and leadership from Duke University. Terry also serves as an advisory board member for Duke’s Center for Energy, Development and the Global Environment (EDGE).

In his role as Chief Financial Officer, Dario Deferrari oversees Franklin Energy’s financial strategy and operations, driving growth and transformation within the organization. With over two decades of experience in finance and energy, Dario has a proven track record of success in leading technology-focused businesses in oil and gas services, products, and engineering. Dario holds a B.A. from Jacksonville University and an MBA in Finance from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.

As Chief People Officer, Ed Hayes is responsible for leading the human resources, sustainability, safety, and diversity and inclusion teams. With over 25 years of experience guiding HR teams, Ed leads the company-wide strategy and execution to deliver on our people-centric vision. Ed’s impressive track record of success spans HR and talent initiatives in multiple industries and functions, living and working throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Throughout his career, Ed has built deep experience creating and leading HR teams, with executive roles at companies including National Grid, Wells Fargo, Standard Chartered Bank, and Wachovia. Ed graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. 

With over 20 years of experience in industrial, healthcare, and energy markets, Grace Wu's successful track record includes delivering profitable growth through innovation, service, process, and system improvements. Grace has held leadership roles in all facets of business including sales, business development, product management, manufacturing, distribution and logistics, and general management roles, both within the US and globally. As COO, Grace is responsible for the enterprise-level central shared service functions as well as leading transformative changes that accelerate the growth and create value for clients, employees, and other stakeholders. Her role is pivotal in expanding the reach and capacity of Franklin Energy, ensuring customer delight while creating value.

Grace is a graduate of Executive Management Programs from The London School of Economics in the UK and INSEAD in France. Grace earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio.

With exceptional expertise in growth strategy and market development, Marisa leads Franklin Energy by driving new business opportunities and ensuring effective retention and fulfillment of existing business. Leveraging more than 23 years of experience within the energy, consumer high-tech and automotive industries at companies ranging from global Fortune 50 to start-ups, she excels in leading teams, managing regulatory and legislative affairs, and fostering strategic communications, programs, and partnerships.

Marisa holds a B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University and obtained her MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. She serves on the Board of Directors of Groundswell, an organization that makes community solar accessible to low income residents.

In her role as Chief Technology Officer, Sushma Annareddy oversees management of Franklin Energy’s employee- and client-facing technology solutions while establishing and investing in the organization’s long-term technology vision. With more than two decades of service in technology and engineering across both national and global companies, Sushma’s record of success has proven her leadership and product management expertise.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and in telecommunications engineering from Osmania University, an M.S. in computer science engineering from the University of Louisville, a certificate in advanced management from Babson College, and multiple technology certifications.

As President of AESC, Antonio Corradini leads the team in their daily delivery of program support to some of the largest utilities in the nation, while sharing his experience and subject matter expertise with our engineering team as they deliver highly technical solutions to our clients in a variety of areas, including energy efficiency, demand response, self-generation, regulatory compliance and retro-commissioning. Antonio is a registered Professional Engineer both in Italy and California, and a California licensed electrical contractor. He received both his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Brescia, Italy, and his Master of Business Administration from the University of California San Diego.

Jackie Bliss is a strategic global executive with a track record of leading teams to exceed ambitious sales and financial targets. With over 16 years of experience in the energy industry, she has served as head of multiple divisions for large energy companies and has a core competency in building and managing large, multi-national commercial teams to drive substantial growth. As President of Services for Franklin Energy, Jackie is responsible for developing and delivering profitable and sustainable energy solutions to meet clients’ needs.

Jackie holds a master’s in Energy Policy and Management as well as a bachelor’s degree, both from Columbia University.

As President of AM Conservation, John is responsible for overall strategy and execution of the product company’s goals and priorities. He’s been with the company for over 13 years. Throughout that time, John continues to say that the recipe for success is developing and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients and employees.  Prior to joining AM Conservation, John worked for a Fortune 500 company in financial services, and he also owned and sold a successful advertising business. John graduated from the Moore School of Business at The University of South Carolina.

With over two decades of experience in helping utility customers use energy more efficiently and effectively, Carol Weston leads a dedicated team of professionals delivering energy savings to customers and helping clients in the East region meet their goals. Her main responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with utility clients, assisting in the start-up and implementation of clean energy programs throughout the region, and serving as an advocate for clients. Carol holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Vermont, a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Tufts University, and a professional engineering license. 

With over 25 years of experience in helping utility customers use energy more efficiently and effectively, Dean Laube leads a dedicated team of professionals delivering energy savings to customers and helping clients in the West meet their goals. His main responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with utility clients, assisting in the start-up and implementation of clean energy programs throughout the region, and serving as an advocate for clients. Dean is Certified Energy Manager, Certified Demand Side Management Professional, Certified Building Operator/Instructor, Certified EnVinta One-2-Five Industrial Energy Management, Certified Energy Auditor State of Wisconsin and is a member of the Association of Facility Engineers and the Association of Energy Engineers.

Joe leverages more than 14 years of experience in the energy efficiency and program management sectors to help Franklin Energy’s central region clients meet their sustainability goals. He has developed organization-wide working groups to facilitate better cross-functional knowledge sharing, led process standardization efforts to improve program results and offered innovative approaches to meet clients' future energy demands and waste reduction goals. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers.

Managing clients, projects and programs since 1996, Allison Bially has been in the energy industry since 2006. She is adept at creating clear goals and objectives at the outset of a project, making necessary course corrections to ensure optimal outcomes, and motivating teams to perform to the best of their ability. She excels in establishing a common vision for multiple stakeholders and working in a partnership-oriented fashion with customers, contractors, vendors, and clients. Allison directs the implementation of programs across the AESC team by coordinating with utility and facility customers, establishing processes and procedures, and working with the program management team to ensure programs meet or exceed goals, expectations, and budget requirements.

Briana Rogers is responsible for achieving goals in the areas of engineering, program management and business development. She currently manages investor-owned and publicly owned utility customized incentive programs, emerging technology efforts, technical assistance programs, evaluation, measurement and verification studies, program policy and guideline documents, and various integrated audit efforts for both private end-users and on behalf of utilities. Briana received her Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is a certified Engineer-in-Training, and she has undertaken technical training in a broad spectrum of fields ranging from missile defense systems to biomedical engineering.

Leading corporate marketing and a portfolio 12 residential, multifamily, small business, and large commercial/industrial, service solutions, Danielle Marquis sets the standard for our clean energy offerings through solution development, lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategy. Danielle is known for building high-performing, award-winning teams during times of transition, and has extensive experience with merger- and acquisition-related integrations. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado at Boulder School of Law, a BA in economics and political science from Union College, a certificate in data analytics from the University of California at Berkeley, a certificate in product management from Produx Labs, and multiple digital marketing certifications. She served as Vice Chair of Education and Board Member for the Association of Energy Services Professionals for nine years.

After two decades with Franklin Energy, Eric Wall has gained a wealth of well-rounded industry knowledge. In his current role, Eric manages technology start-up delivery and supports both services and products operations teams. He anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external clients while ensuring the technology teams are delivering effective solutions on time. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an associate degree from University of Wisconsin Fox Valley, and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the technology field, Jeanna presides over the planning, development and implementation of Franklin Energy’s robust software platforms. Using data and business analysis, she creates integrated strategies and develops processes to maximize efficiency and growth for Franklin Energy and our business partners. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Jeff brings over 25 years of experience in the software and energy sectors to Franklin Energy. In his current role, he leads client technology services, which includes the integrated DSM software-as-a-service business. Jeff helped build several successful technology service organizations throughout his career and shepherded a variety of teams around customer delivery, operations, product development and software engineering. Jeff attended the United States Air Force Academy where he studied civil engineering and began his career as an officer in the United States military. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.

Jen has more than two decades of experience in the accounting field for private and public companies across multiple industries, with the last 10 years concentrated on leading accounting and finance departments. For Franklin Energy, she oversees all aspects of the accounting department, consolidates planning and forecasting and performs all financial reporting to ownership, management, lenders, and rating agencies. Jen works closely with all areas of the company on strategic initiatives, planning, process improvements and compliance. She is a trained CPA, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Laina McQueen is a visionary marketer with more than 20 years’ experience in driving strategic growth for global brands, while keeping the customer experience at the center of the marketing ecosystem. Known for her innovative approaches and data-driven insights, she leads client marketing, marketing delivery and operations, and creative services in marketing programs and approaches that lead the industry.

Laina studied at Fairfield University for her undergraduate studies in marketing and University of Vermont for digital marketing. 

Lloyd Kass has developed and implemented clean energy, buildings efficiency, and affordable housing programs for utilities and government for 30 years. At Franklin Energy, Lloyd is responsible for leading engagement with government, utilities, and other stakeholders to grow the business through the acceleration of climate-forward clean energy policy. Lloyd is also a part-time educator and has served as adjunct associate professor at Columbia University for 13 years. He is active with several energy policy nonprofit groups as well and serves as board president for the Energy Efficiency Alliance, which advocates for clean energy policy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University.

With over 20 years of sales leadership, Michael Romeo has vast experience in supporting organizational growth. As an industry veteran, Michael brings a globally diverse energy background where he has held leadership roles in sales operations, business development, field services, training and enablement, and more. In his role at Franklin Energy, Michael is responsible for helping grow the organization through core competencies and strategic direction. He strives to support and inspire a culture that empowers thought leadership and continued innovation. Michael has served on various policy and advisory boards during his time in the energy industry.

Rosa Cassidy brings extensive experience in the energy industry and a record of performance supporting sales teams and delivering new business. In her current role, Rosa is responsible for preparation of detailed capture plans that support early prepositioning activities, pre-solutioning, and early program design activities. Prior to joining Franklin Energy, she worked for a Fortune 500 company supporting program operations and business development. She graduated from The Catholic University of America with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering. Rosa is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt, and fluent in Spanish. She currently serves on ACEEE’s Board of Directors and is a former member of SEEA’s Board of Directors.
